Femsoc AGM
The following positions are available for election: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Liasion Officer, Public Relations officer, and Intersectionality Officers. Their respective remits are detailed below. Only paid up members of Femsoc are eligible to stand for election or vote (as per DUSA's guidelines). You may still pay £3 to buy an annual membership (or £7 for an all of course membership).
The presiding officers for the election are Fiona Curran and Andrew Edwards. Please email them via Facebook if you have queries.
You can start campaigning for your position at any time and put a manifesto on this site and the Facebook page (email us). Eligible voters will then be able to vote at the AGM. If you are unable to attend the meeting you may vote via email and let the presiding officers know your preference prior to the meeting. After the AGM the elected candidates shall then be declared by the presiding officers. The current exec will then hand over power to the new exec by the middle of May.
Notes:
If nobody stands for a particular position then the elected executives shall share the role. If nobody stands for president the executive will decide amongst them whom shall be to co-presidents or whether to run as a politburo. Unfilled positions may be filled in future meetings.
If one person stands for a position but you wish to vote against them you can do so.
